In 2002 she started her professional career after she began playing tennis when she was a child.
We can say that the main event of her career was reaching the quarter-finals at Wimbledon in 2006 after she came from qualifiers. Patty Schnyder, Gisela Dulko and Ai Sugiyama were the players she defeated to be one of the quarter-finals. She lost though to Justine Henin with the score 6-4, 6-4.
Until now she has won five single ITF tournaments and four ITF doubles tournaments and no WTA title.
The single titles were won at the tournaments in Gold Coast, Hobart, Tokyo, Acapulco and Berlin. The first two tournaments were played on hard, the third on carpet and
the other two on clay. She beat in the finals players like Iveta Benesova, Michaella Krajicek, Marion Bartoli, Ekaterina Dzehalevich or Sabine Lisicki.
In 2005, 2006 and 2007 she played in the first round at the Australian Open and every time stopped there.
In 2005 at Roland Garros she played the first round, managed to win the game and pass into the second round but then lost.
At the US Open she reached the second round in 2004 and 2006.
Her main important performance remains the quarter-final played at Wimbledon in 2006 against Justine Henin.
At the beginning of the year 2007 she played at the Mondial Australian Women's Hardcourts event. She won the first round against Iveta Benesova, but lost the second against Tathiana Garbin.
At Wimbledon in 2007 she played the semi-final as a mixed doubles player. Her partner was Fabrice Santoro, but they lost and didn't pass in the final.
